This is a 12 oz sippy cup with a screw on top. It is hard not squishy. It is leak proof but can take a bit of sucking motion for the child to get it to flow out. You can always remove that part of the lid but it will no longer be leak proof. There is a second lid that goes with it that has a straw as this is considered a grow with me tumbler.
